A nutritious, active pregnancy with adherence to weight gain recommendations will have an immediate and lasting impact on your health and the health of your baby.

Research has shown that excessive gestational weight gain can lead to complications in pregnancy as well as increased risk of retaining weight after giving birth. There are also risks associated with gaining too little weight, particularly for the growing child.

Rather than stress over numbers, calories, and pounds, we will take an approach that is focused on nutrients, quality ingredients and how to best nourish your body. We will shift our focus away from all of the “don’ts” of pregnancy, instead paying more attention to all of the incredibly healthy foods you can enjoy while understanding the role they play in helping your baby to grow.
